As it is made entirely of plastic, the COLASIT heat exchanger does not suffer from any corrosion problems.

All the COLASIT heat exchangers are assembled from a modular system. Their size is mainly determined by the mass flows and capacities, and only by the components to a limited extent.

Two clear tube clearances of approx. 5 and 12 mm are available for clean and waste gases.

The COLASIT heat exchanger is cleaned using pressurised water and/or with chemical detergents which are coordinated with the contamination and the material.

Application

  • during heat recovery processes from aggressive waste air, for example in electroplating, the chemical industry and the electronics industry, etc.
  • when cooling aggressive exhaust gases from scrubbers and the subsequent heating, for example, in drying processes, in chemical metal treatment, waste incineration and sewage sludge incineration, etc.
  • as a condenser for chemicals, pharmaceuticals, drying technology, etc.
